ADVANTAGES:

  • IDEAL FOR ORGAN PERFUSION STUDIES. The Ultra-P micro flow through electrodes for pH, pO2, pCO2, and temperature are ideally suited for perfusion studies in liver, kidney, heart, lung, and other perfused organ systems.
  • USED IN CELL PERFUSION STUDIES. The Micro flow through electrodes can also be used in cell perfusion studies of various animal and plant cells.
  • ALL BIOCOMPATIBLE COMPONENTS. All electrode components are made of glass, fluoropolymer, acrylic, and epoxy and are completely compatible with perfusate media.
  • LOW VOLUME FLOW THROUGH SYSTEMS. All flow through electrodes have low internal volumes and are designed for flow rates between 1 and 150 ml per minute.
  • USE WITH SILASTIC OR OTHER FLEXIBLE TUBING. Electrodes come with hose barb end fitting. Just slip the silastic or other tubing over the hose barb fitting for a leak free connection.
  • OPTICALLY CLEAR FLOW CELLS. Optically clear flow cells make for simple visual bubble detection and bubble elimination.
  • CONTINUOUSLY RECORD PH, PO2, PCO2, AND TEMPERATURE. The pO2, and temperature flow-through modules plug directly into any standard strip chart recorder for continuous recording. The pH and pCO2 flow-through modules can be interfaced to a strip chart recorder using a Lazar pH/millivolt meter or any standard laboratory pH/millivolt meter.
  • RAPID RESPONSE. Response time for all the flow through electrodes is less than 30 seconds for a 50% increase in the parameter being monitored.

Response Time: Less than 12 seconds for 90% of reading

ORDERING INFORMATION

COMPLETE MULTIPARAMETER MONITORING SYSTEMS Model PFS-1
Complete 4 parameter monitoring system including pH, pO2, pCO2, and temperature flow-through modules. Instrument console, flow cell tray, digital display monitor and output connector for direct connection to strip chart recorder. pH and pCO2 each require a separate pH/millivolt meter to use with strip chart recorder. pO2 and temperature proves plug directly into strip chart recorder.

Model PFS-2 perfusion monitoring system.
Same as above, but includes 2 digital pH/millivolt meters for use with pH and pCO2 flow-through module. A complete 4 parameter system for direct interface with a strip chart recorder.

COMPUTER INTERFACE SYSTEMS

Model PC-201 computer interface for IBM or compatible computer.
Includes A to D convertor (analog to digital), interconnect cable and software package. Connects directly to Model PFS-2 perfusion monitoring system.

Model PC-301 computer with interface.
Includes computer with 640K RAM, floppy disk, keyboard, monochrome monitor, A to D converter, interconnect cable, and software package. Connects directly to Model PFS-2 perfusion monitoring system. Computer system can also be used to monitor other laboratory parameters such as temperature, pressure, and pH.
