Description:The Minisart®-RC syringe filter units consist of a
hydrophilic regenerated cellulose acetate membrane with a polypopylene
housing and are ideal for the rapid and reliable ultracleaning of small
volume samples for HPLC or GC. Filter connectors are female Luer lock inlet
and male Luer slip outlet. The 4 mm diameter syringe filter features a
filter area of 0.07 cm2 and can filter up to 1 ml of sample volume, while
the 15 mm diameter syringe filter has a filter area of 1.7 cm2 and can filter
up to 5 ml of sample volume. Priming volume/holdup volume for the 4 mm
diameter syringe filter is 0.17ml/5 microliter and, the priming
volume/holdup volume for the 15 mm syringe filter is 0.2 ml/10 microliters.
Maximum operating pressure is 6 bar.
Minisart®-RC filter units outperform competitive hydrophilic filter units
in terms of compatibility with aqueous solutions and solvent mixtures. They
are compatible with the following:
acetic acid(96%), acetone, acetonitrile, n-Butanol, cellosolve (ethyl),
chloroform, diethyl acetamide, dimethylsulfoxide, dioxane, ethyl acetate,
ethanol, ethylene glycol, Freon TF, gasoline, hexane, isobutanol,
isopropanol, methanol, methylene chloride, methyl ethyl ketone, pentane,
tetrahydrofuran, toluene, trichloroacetic acide (25%), trichlorethane,
water, xylene
